CHINA CASE STUDY
Gansu Zodiac Theme Public Display
A monumental zodiac-themed Ox lantern group developed for public display in Gansu, combining symbolic cultural imagery with landmark scale and durable construction.

Project Overview
Client Challenge
A public landmark needs to communicate clearly from multiple viewing distances and remain practical for long-term presentation. Scale, structural logic, finish and maintenance access all influence the design.
Our Solution
The Ox composition was engineered around a strong primary silhouette and supporting decorative elements. Factory fabrication emphasized structural continuity, controlled surface finishing and reliable lighting integration.
Craftsmanship & Production
At the Shilong workshop in Zigong, the project moved through steel-frame fabrication, lighting placement, fabric covering, artistic coloring and pre-delivery inspection. Production decisions were reviewed against visual quality, module size, electrical access and the practical requirements of the destination.
Installation & Delivery
The display was planned in major transportable sections, allowing the installation team to establish the primary structure before adding surface modules, lighting connections and final decorative details.
